Your Abundance Container

I love this exercise! I found it over the weekend as I was going through some of my journals from a few years back. I call it the Abundance Container Exercise.
I first did this visualization exercise about 5 years ago, and it really brought to light just how small I was playing.
It showed me how I actually was repelling money and abundance.
It’s super simple yet profoundly impacts your ability to receive money.
Here it is:
- Find a quiet spot to sit. Close your eyes. Take a few deep breathes to settle and relax yourself.
- Now take a moment to imagine your capacity to receive as a physical object. It can be any size or shape—go with the very first thing that comes to mind.
What's the size and shape of your container?
What is it made of?
What do you notice about it?
How much abundance can it hold?
The first time I did this exercise, my container was a small white bowl, like I have in my dish cabinet. Not very inspiring and not very big at all.
The next time, a few months later, it was a a big red bucket, like I have in my shed. Bigger, prettier but still small - and in my dark shed!
When I did it the following year, it was a big stadium, but the roof was closed, so nothing could get in. So eye-opening for me!
Your container represents the amount of money, abundance, success, and other good things you can hold right now.
Visualize your current container and notice the details that might be blocking your ability to receive. Then, choose what you want your new container to be. Elevate your vision!
I suggest checking in with your Abundance Container every couple of months to see where you’re at. You can print out photos of your dream container and add it to your vision board or journal. Add it to your phone and computer’s screensaver to anchor in that next level of abundance.
